Hackers have pocketed over a MILLION dollars in stolen bills in the past few weeks alone As if paper money wasn_t having a hard enough time these days You_d think Facebook and Bitcoin would be good friends, but Facebook just hit the Block button hard The social media giant unveiled a new ad policy which says, quote, Ads must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices. Then they SPECIFICALLY mention cryptocurrency, and in their examples of a prohibited ad, Facebook included Use your retirement funds to buy Bitcoin That said Shannon, Facebook DID say the policy was intentionally broad, and they would revisit it as they get better at detecting deceptive advertising.Ever since the whole Russian advertising debacle, Facebook has been tightening the reins over there, nice to see.
