A renowned lawman, gambler, and gunfighter of the Old West, Wild Bill Hickok might have retired to a pleasant routine of East Coast gentility and lived to a comfortable, fame-warmed old age. The only problem was that Wild Bill was the real deal, and an authentic bad ass, even back in the 1800s, never could stand to just lie around and wait for death to sneak up in his sleep.
