Description: Set in Madrid during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns, Menina Casilda (2023) opens with 35 year old out of work actor Diego (Alvaro De Paz) abducting Sara (Paula Varela), a twenty year old law student, from her apartment. What seems sinister at first soon softens a bit as we discover that Diego is an avid film lover whose pandemic project is recreating his favorite films, but he needs Sara's help in doing so.
