In part two of The Baron's Daughter Miss Bright indeed gets her comeuppance. She is called into Mr. Johnson's office and told that the baron donated half a million pounds to the school and that the only thing that would satisfy him, after Miss Bright spanked his daughter without permission, is that Miss Bright gets a sound strapping and a picture of her red sore bottom will be sent to the Baron. That is excatly what happened despite Miss Bright's protests.
