Aaron had had such muted reactions during the first part of this shoot that Tom decided it was best to continue shooting the same day. And to get an honest reaction from Aaron, he needed to keep at him while his ass was already red and hurting.
In this video, Tom starts with an electric paddle followed by the belt (with many by hand mixed in). This is when everything starts to get to Aaron. The sleepsack made of heavy rubber that I would say is around 3/16 inch thick. Some people in our group referred to the thickness as 4mm. Regardless of the gauge, you can see the thickness by looking at how the rubber folds and creases. In other recent videos we have shown rubber straitjackets made of the same gauge material. It's my belief that if the rubber gauge is much thicker it becomes unmanageable. I think it would no longer conform to the body. I'm not saying that we should avoid making gear out of a heavier gauge of rubber, I'm just not sure it would be practical. However, please let me know if you see any gear made of thicker rubber.
