And while he may have been right in terms of predicting the internet, he was VASTLY overestimating attention spans Which is why it_s such a great time to bring back The Gong Show The 10 episode revival will bring internet oddballs with untraditional talents to perform in front of a live studio audience. Celebrity judges will then assess their performance and often cut them off with the infamous You_re done gong The series, which had a brief cable revival in 2008, is still awaiting an air date. And while I don_t fully sympathize, getting dumped by a guy who might never get out of prison has to hurt And if Making a Murderer is at one end of the Netflix original series spectrum, we_re going all the way to the other end for this week_s, Stream This The Ranch is Netflix_s stab at a conventional multi-camera sitcom, but as you_d expect from the streaming service, it_s still something you wouldn_t quite see on network TV. There_s some swearing. There_s some edge. And the central family pairs traditional sitcom stars Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson with acclaimed actors Sam Elliott and Debra Winger as the parents The Ranch may not be the funniest thing on TV, but it_s an experiment worth checking out And for fans of That 70s_ Show, Kutcher and Masterson will be joined for some upcoming episodes by their old buddy Wilmer Valderrama. The second part of The Ranch_s first season starts streaming on Netflix on Friday. The US Environmental Protection Agency claims the 2015 Porsche Cayenne and several other models come equipped with the same software that triggered the worldwide Volkswagen scandal. Up to 10 thousand of the cars sold in the US could now be recalled. Yemen is being pummeled by a rare tropical cyclone. Chapala made landfall early Tuesday and is the most powerful storm to hit the country since records began. Wind gusts of over 100 miles per hour have been reported, and the usually arid desert republic could receive 10 YEARS worth of rainfall before its all over. Yemen is currently embroiled in a civil war which could make rescue efforts even more difficult. And President Obama wants to ban federal agencies from asking job applicants about their criminal histories.
